Cara Announces New Applied Epic Integration for Insurance Brokerages
The Cara Team
Cara, the AI platform purpose-built for insurance brokerages, today announced a new integration with Applied Epic, expanding the ways agencies and brokerages can connect Cara to the systems and workflows their teams use every day.
The integration allows Cara to work with deeper account, policy, contact, document, claims, application, and workflow data in Applied Epic. By retrieving the records needed for each task when they are needed, Cara can support AI-powered workflows across sales, servicing, and operations without requiring teams to rely on manual data transfer between systems.
With the Applied Epic integration, Cara can help agencies and brokerages move beyond simple lookup and put agency data to work inside everyday workflows. Teams can use Cara to support proposal generation, coverage comparison, policy checking, client communication, certificate generation, application data, documents, and activities, while Applied Epic remains the system of record.
The release reflects Cara’s broader focus on building insurance-native AI infrastructure that fits into existing agency operations. By complementing agencies’ existing systems, Cara brings AI-powered workflow automation closer to the tools, data, and processes that support day-to-day agency work.
For enterprise customers, Cara can also support deeper customization and enhanced data synchronization across workflows and platform capabilities, helping larger teams align Cara more closely to their internal processes, data structures, and operational needs.
The Applied Epic integration is now available to Cara customers. Existing customers can contact their Cara account manager or support team for additional details.
