Cara Joins Applied’s Vendor Certification Program
Cara
Cara, the AI platform purpose-built for insurance brokerages, today announced its certified integration with Applied Epic, expanding the ways agencies and brokerages can connect Cara with the systems and workflows their teams use every day. As part of Applied Systems’ Certified Vendor ecosystem, Cara joins a network of trusted technology providers that help agencies extend the capabilities of their Applied solutions through integrated workflows.
The integration allows Cara to work with account, policy, contact, document, claims, application, and workflow data in Applied Epic. By accessing the information needed for each task when it is needed, Cara helps agencies support workflows across sales, servicing, and operations without relying on manual data transfer between systems.
“Agencies and brokerages don’t need more disconnected tools - they need technology that works with the systems and workflows they already rely on,” said Vic Yeh, Co-Founder and CEO of Cara. “By connecting Cara with Applied Epic, we’re helping agencies put their existing data to work across everyday processes while keeping their agency management system at the center of their operations.”
With the Applied Epic integration, Cara helps agencies and brokerages move beyond simple data lookup and apply agency information directly within everyday workflows. Teams can use Cara to support proposal generation, coverage comparison, policy checking, client communication, certificate generation, application workflows, and more, while Applied Epic remains the system of record.
The integration reflects Cara’s broader focus on building insurance-native AI infrastructure that fits into existing agency operations. By complementing the systems agencies already use, Cara helps teams bring intelligence and automation into the workflows that support day-to-day agency work.
For enterprise customers, Cara can support deeper customization and enhanced data synchronization across workflows and platform capabilities, helping larger teams align Cara more closely with their internal processes, data structures, and operational needs.
The Applied Epic integration is now available to Cara customers. Existing customers can contact their Cara account manager or support team for additional details.
